I am using diskin to play a file from disk. Can I alter the amplitude of
this signal?Yes. Simply multiply the output by some amplitude scaling factor before
sending to the output -- like this (adapted from the manual):
instr 1
iampscale = 0.7
ktrans linseg 1, 5, 2, 10, -2
a1 diskin2 "beats.wav", ktrans, 0, 1, 0, 32
a1 = a1 * iampscale
outs a1, a1
endin
